Stomach And Back Pain, When Persistent Is A
Reason To Be Worried
Both stomach and back pain are common ailments that almost
everyone will have felt at some point of time or the other in
their lives and they are also something that can be treated
without too much fuss or bother, unless particularly severe.
The only kind of stomach and back pain that gives reason to be
worried is one that is such that it cannot be ignored because
it could be an indicator that something else that is serious
has gone wrong with you.
As far as the stomach pain is concerned you should consider a
few things that will help you realize the seriousness of this
type of pain and it could be due to a woman’s pregnant state,
or it could be something worse in which the stomach may feel
tender to the touch. If a pregnant woman feels stomach pain,
and it is accompanied by bleeding, it could be indicative of
something serious such as ectopic pregnancy, or even
miscarriage.
Other types of stomach pain are appendicitis conditions,
infectious diarrhea, bowel bleeding, perforated appendix and
pancreatitis and even bowel blockage. However, if you have both
stomach and back pain, it could be that you have gallstones, or
even and infected gallbladder, which is a serious condition
that warrants needing to see your doctor without any
delay.
Kidney Stones, Or Even Tumors
Other types of conditions that you may be suffering from when
it concerns stomach and back pain is any condition in which you
have pain as a result of kidney stones, or even because of a
tumor, and when accompanied by a fever, it could indicate that
you have kidney or even bladder infection, which means that you
need to head to the nearest hospital and get further and prompt
medical attention.
The simplest treatment for stomach and back pain, when it is a
result of having eaten something unpalatable, is to sip water
or suck on some chips of ice. However, if such a condition is
serious enough you will have to see a doctor, especially when
the pain is severe and persistent and it only seems to get
worse, or even when it is accompanied by shortness of breath
and bleeding or even dizziness, high fever or vomiting.
In case of stomach and back pain, it is necessary for you to
describe to the doctor exactly the pain that you are feeling
and also describe where it hurts you the most, and also the
feelings of pain that it causes because the proper diagnosis
would only then be possible if you are clear about letting the
doctor know about your exact problem.
